Thanks Thanks! We already have an app, but if the 64 # was critical was going to get her to the ER vet tonight.  Panic stopped :)

    Diabetic? Hypoglycemia?

Eating, Peeing, Pooping normal. The pee has a pungent odd sweet smell to it. Def not smelling like normal cat pee. Still have a vet trip on Saturday. Could it be kidney issues? UTI? She's a female I think males are more prone to kidney issues?

Seriously cannot thank you enough! I'm in a bit of a controlled panic. This little one has been with me a long time at this point. :(

    Diabetic? Hypoglycemia?

I haven't dosed with any insulin. :( This is her natural glucose level, which has me even more worried. Except for the URI stuff, she's always been healthy and crazy. All I can find online about the 68 number is incorrect insulin dosages for already diagnosed diabetic cats rcving insulin. Can...

    Diabetic? Hypoglycemia?

I have a 16-18 yr old kitty. I noticed her pee was smelling weird a couple days ago. A sweet odd smell? I called this morning to get a vet app for Saturday. Diabetes is my instant mental freak out go to. Just got back from Walmart. Bought a glucose meter and supplies. Watched dozens of you tube...

    Allergies vs URI

Happy update! Well she got much worse, the allergy meds maybe helped a little bit with the congestion, but no large improvement. I started using this stuff http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/products/Only-Natural-Pet-Respiratory-Support-Herbal-Formula/999179.aspx It's been a couple weeks and she...

    Allergies vs URI

Thanks! I was just wondering if it was logical to look into an antihistamine. I'll schedule another vet visit to discuss. It certainly hasn't seemed cyclical. She's always blown bubbles when purring, but never actually sneezy before this. Would it be smart to keep her on the Lysine, as a just...

    Allergies vs URI

I'm sorry that your kitty is dealing with this too! It's just awful. I feel so bad that I can't fix it! Even the BF who "**** hates cats", as he phrases it, feels bad for her. I think he's starting to worry but isn't telling me. I caught him snuggling with her last night. LOL Usually she blows...

    Allergies vs URI

For the past 8 months we have been battling with a chronic URI. Several rounds of antibiotics, it gets a little better, then comes back, rinse and repeat. She spends 15 minutes in the bathroom twice a day for steam. That's the time the hot water runs out. It's always mucus and sneezy snot rocket...

    Door Darting Kitty?

oh and when she does door dart, she hides under things that are closeby and waits until the last instant to bolt so you have a very slim chance of catching her with your foot to block her. The army needs to study her sneak attack methods...

    Door Darting Kitty?

Ok I'm at my wits end... I've resorted to things I never thought I would have and I'm at another dead end. I have a little female cat who's about 9-10 years old. Don't know for sure since I picked her up off the street. Very social kitty, with a tude. She laughs at squirt bottles and is...
