It has almost been two weeks, and I still cannot beleive Tango is gone. I have nightmares, and the what if's and maybe's are killing me. I feel so very responsible. If I hadn't relocated with my fiancee, but instead stayed where we were, and made sure the vet saw him everyday, if I hadn't...
Actually I messed up, it was Friday the 13th that Tango passed away. We had an autopsy done and the vet said that although Tango had fully recovered from surgery, and was doing very well, (he had gained weight and his fever was gone), there were other problems they we were not aware of, and he...
We just wanted to let you know, Tango passed away today, Thursday April 12th, 2001 at 6:30 am. We aren't really sure what happenend, he seemed to be doing really well. We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the entire time he was sick.
Catarina7777,
Thank-you for your continued support, your encouragement and caring words have been an anchor for Tango and I. After all of the fuss and guessing of diagnosis', it turns out that he has a bacterial infection. He was doing pretty good up until a few days ago, he has stopped...
Hello, I just thought that maybe this might help you. I have a long haired tabby who is also very anemic. He was tested twice for feline leukemia, but tested negative both times. The vet was baffled, originally she had thought it was cancer, but after having over half of his bowel removed she...
Thanks again Sandie, I can't seem to find out much about it on-line and my vet hasn't seen very many cases of it. We are not sure where he picked it up since he doesn't go outside, maybe from the car to where ever, but not without us and not to look around on his own...he's a pretty big scaredy...
Thanks Sandie,
I was just wondering, he doesn't seem to have any problems with his lungs, he is breathing fine, but he has all of the other symptoms...is this possible? Seeing as we are not 100% sure that this is what he has, any other suggestions as to the cause...all we know right now is...
Well the verdict is in, Tango is suffering from what they think is Histoplasmosis. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
We have to wait until Monday for the lab to confirm, but the Vet is fairly sure, as he has all of the symptoms. We appreciate any help here.

Well we have some great news to share. Tango doesn't have cancer. He has what appears to be a chronic infection. We are not sure if it is fungal or bacterial, but I am so estatic, that I am not super worried about it. We are not out of the woods by a long shot. He is not...
Dear Pat,
I was sort of where you are until yesterday. Tango, who had symptoms Bubba doesn't have, had exploritory surgery done, a week ago, he had over half of his colon removed and they thought they had found a tumor, and his lymph nodes were swollen. They were pretty sure he had lymphoma...
Thank-you all so much for taking the time to support Tango and I. Our fever has gone down one degree and we are eating via syringe. We still have no biobsy results,as of yet. We are on double antibiotics and have our fingers and paws crossed. The next few days will be critical to see as the...
Thank-you Sandie, we appreciate your good wishes. Tango has had his exploritory surgery and has half of his bowel removed. There was a tumor present and there were some swollen lymph nodes that were removed. We are awaiting the results of the biopsy. Realistically, the vet does not hink that...
Hello, our name is Tango and I am a three and a half year old long haired Tabby. I am not very affectionate, unless you'd like to feed me, (then I will be your best friend). I am a little skittish and my Mom makes me move a lot. I am pretty vain and like to be told how wonderful I am. I am...
