Dear Lone Pine,  I am glad I got a chance to read your blog before it was "moderated out."  I enjoyed it and am sorry others won't be able to now. 

I know next to nothing about caring for feral cats but I wanted to say I loved your blog.  I do believe that getting the kitties spayed and neutered is very important so that is wonderful, your doing that.  Lovely pictures, too.  I am hoping other, more knowledgeable people will chime in here...

My 3 kitties, litter mates, adopted from the local humane society. Jasper is no longer with us and we miss him terribly. We still have our boy and girl Mango and Pumpkin around who are much loved. They are 9 years old.

No.  Good question!! Have you ever been physically abused?  (I have which is probably why I would never do that to another creature.  It hurts is so many ways, more than just physically!!)
