My new kitty peed on a pile of clothing in a back room a while ago - just dealing with it now.  She doesn't do that anymore, but just wondering what's the best way to wash the clothing?  Should I buy some type of extra-strong laundry detergent or add a little CLorox to the water?  They are old...

I accidentally spilled a little melted (cooled) butter on my cat's back last night..  Today, the vet said to get some Dawn (which they put on birds to get oil off) at the store, but when I went, all they had was Dawn Ultra and stuff with heavy fragrance, no plain Dawn, so I got something else...

Well, thanks for the advice, but no luck.:(  I warmed up the fluid bag in a bowel of warm water, but I guess it's just the sensation of water under the skin that makes her jump.. I just can't get her to sit still.  Have tried it in various places, on her favorite piano bench cushion, chair...

So, just to confirm, most people give their CRF cat a total of 5 mg of Pepcid a day?  Would it be of any help to give more than that if she's still throwing up? 

My online vet thinks the Pepcid might not help that she has "azotemia or uremia".  Is there anything I can do for that?  Thanks.  Getting desperate as she's throwing everything up now.  :(

I'm just wondering if anybody's tried this... My kitty has chronic kidney disease and throws up a lot, and I have trouble sometimes getting even small pieces of Pepcid tablet into her (must taste very bitter), so thinking of getting the suspension and just putting a drop or two in her food...
