My Katie is 8 lbs 5 ounces and the Furminator comes in up to 10 lbs and over 10.  Should I get the bigger one even though she is under the 10 lbs? The 1.75" sounds so tiny. Thanks, Susie

I've seen the reviews on Amazon and some say that it makes there cats have bald spots and makes the fur too thin.  Has this been true for any of you? Susie

Thanks you two. :) I saw that Cats for Dummies book on line. :) Yes, she is starting to be a tad more active and sits with us once in a while. I just had her at the vets and he didn't mention getting her chipped although he did look for one. Susie
