Here he is sleeping.
He's very comfortable around the house now and walks around freely. He will just plonk himself in your lap and give you a head bonk. He is great. He is obsessed with licking me though.
Yeah I've considered that, I think pet insurance is about £2 a month, or so I have been told. My parents were gonna get a cat from a home for my birthday so I know they're not totally against it anyway and I could talk them round it I think.
Yeah I understand :(
I can afford the adoption fee...
Has anyone UK based done this before?
Does it cost much? I would like a little cat for a pet but I don't know if I can afford one. It's unlikely anyway as I live with my parents and I don't think they want one, I could probably talk them around it though.
Just interested to hear from anyone...
She came here again today, usually when she sits with me I pick her up and she sits in my lap but she will now jump up on me and make herself comfortable. If I stop stroking her she nudges my hand and rubs herself against me.
She also fell asleep on me for about 20 mins, she was sort of...
Re: the back and forth meowing with humans, do most cats do this?
Also she came here again today for the first time since I made this thread and I fed her some lamb and she left. She didn't want any love today.
Oh I see, I'd definitely take a cat from a rescue group or a home. I've always said to myself if I ever got a dog (which is never now) I'd have one from a rescue group because I don't see the point buying a pup when there are so many without homes. I didn't know you could do this with cats...
My neighbour's cat sometimes does this to me, she grabs my hand when I'm stroking her when she's lying down and pulls it towards her mouth. She has bitten me gently once before. It's cute.
I don't think she wants to live with us, she doesn't spend lots of time here, it's more like short, regular visits about 5 times a week.
I wish I could get a cat of my own , but we had a dog and he died a few years ago and since then my family said no more pets, plus I'll be going to...
Hi, I am new to this forum.
Basically, my neighbours have a cat, I have never liked cats until I saw this one, she is so cute, she is very friendly too. She sometimes hangs around in our garden and if I see her I open the door and she meows and runs in and lies down on the floor for me to...
