    Dexter + Giselle

Gigi - 9 weeks - 1.1kg Dexter - 9 weeks - 1.3kg Now they are 13 weeks old and Giselle weighs 1.7kgs. Dexter is 1.9kgs. She is consistently 200g lighter than her younger brother. If they keep growing at this rate, I think they're going to be BIG cats :O

Why does my cat scratch around his food bowl?

Yes, my kittens Dexter + Giselle do this and I've learned to translate: 1. Scratching ground BEFORE eating = they don't like what's being served --> I take it away and add water/dry food/milk and they will eat it 2 minutes later 2. Scratching ground AFTER eating = saving for later

Thanks for your warm welcome! So far so good, Dexter + Gigi settling in really well and are fuzzy + cuddly + playful + healthy + well-behaved (understands "No", uses their toilet) + a bit of picky eaters (so I get different flavours + change per can).

I feed Dexter + Gigi 4-5 times a day depending how hungry + active they've been. I work from home so I don't free feed...
