how to properly lodge a vet complaint...not sure if this belongs here

So sorry, I missed some of the responses b/c I didn't have the notification thing correct.... Anyway. Like I said I spoke to a "head vet" and they really had excuses for every thing...She would agree with me to a point then an excuse would come up...it didn't feel resolved, and no apology was...

I heard from the head vet at the office...and pretty much she talked around things and gave excuses for "lack of communication" and this and that... Overall, not pleased at all... What else can I do??? Any advice?

how to properly lodge a vet complaint...not sure if this belongs here

I posted in the general forum but received only one response. I am wondering if anyone has experience dealing with a vet and lodging a formal complaint. I wrote a letter to the office and have received no word as of yet. I did say however, I would expect to hear back from them in 2 business...

how to properly lodge a vet complaint...not sure if this belongs here

So I lodged my formal (written) complaint to the vet...and said that I would give 2 business weeks (seeing that memorial day and vacation often fall during this time). I haven't heard from them yet. Anyone else have some experience with this?

how to properly lodge a vet complaint...not sure if this belongs here

I recently had a bad experience working with a vet that was treating my little guy for his blockage. Among the things she did was: -called him a disapproving name -provided no discharge plan -provided no follow up anything -insisted on vaccinations at the time of his critical situation...

    cat insurance & pre-existing conditions

My little buddy was diagnosed with struvite crystals. He is currently on a prescription diet. I am wondering if there are any pet insurance options or something like it if this were to ever come up again. Anyone else have experience with this?...I'm assuming this is considered a pre-existing...

    cat fountain help!

My cat has never been one to drink from the faucet...but he usually does paw at his water bowl & move it. I tried the small "catit" fountain...The bubbling seemed pretty aggressive for him and he wouldn't go near it. I recently got him the petmate freshflow fountain. He sort of just looks at...

male cat grooming...should I be worried?

My little guy has been recovering from crystals and some blockage. He had a catheter, and has been recovering since last Tuesday. He is doing much better, acting normally, and peeing good amounts. I have a small concern... Every now & then I see him grooming himself as he has been, ever...

wet food diet...more bathing?!? is this normal?

My poor little guy just went through a rough week of recovering from a catheter and very early stages of blockage. I recently changed him to an all wet food diet (with some sprinkles of dry food...since he was on an all dry diet before). I noticed he grooms himself a lot more now.....he's not...

My kitty had crystals.... One vet said only prescription canned at $3 a can.... Another vet said I could do prescription dry only...(purina) I had mentioned to him the idea of doing "wellness" and he said anecdotally he's heard good things...and I could try half wet half dry... So, I've been...

Post Catheter...what are others experience of recovery?

I worry that the symptoms that caused me to bring him to the vet in the first place are seemingly the same symptoms after his catheter. He squats in his box and nothing comes out. He is a neurotic cat so I think he is still having a disconnect b/t his body & brain. Once he tries peeing he...

Post Catheter...what are others experience of recovery?

My male 6 year old cat recently experienced some blockage. We were lucky and caught it early one morning. He was able to get into the vet and be treated. He was then given a catheter & IV. I was told that all checked out well and that he was on the mend. They were going to keep him overnight...
