I hired someone to mow my lawn last year but they drove me crazy because I never knew when they would show up, never on the same day so the lawn was either too long or didn’t need mowing yet. Doing it myself this year and we will see how it goes.

I have a bunch of Ryobi 18v tools. The reciprocal saw is one of the best of those - wonderful for doing pruning and branch trimming as well as other sawing. And I bought an awesome 21V battery operated leaf blower this spring. Came with an extra battery for $85 and it is super powerful.

I started babysitting when I was 14 and usually did it every weekend and some days after school. Then when I was 16 I got a job as an A&W carhop for the summer.

I have a small snowblower that operates on two 24V batteries. It does okay but lighter snows but struggles with heavier. I have considered a battery lawnmower but my yard is pretty big. I wouldn’t want to have to buy another set just to get the whole lawn done.

I was out cleaning out the yard today and when I got to the one of the bird baths, the absolute grossest thing. Not just the furry bits of flesh but the entire lower body half of some furry little creature - baby bunny or baby squirrel. Darn crows.

Mostly outdoors work. Found a matching paint color for the shed, picked up the last of the branches and sticks in the yard and mowed my side yard. Went to pick up an Amazon package and found four scratch offs in the parking lot - $15 in winners collected.

Fun little positive this morning. I was crossing a parking lot and on the ground were four scratch off tickets, clearly un scratched. Picked them up, brought them home and scratched them off. Three of the four were small winners totaling $15.
