    Just an update

I would find a person to foster my pets until I could locate an apartment that allowed them all. I would never give up my pets. I understand you have to move now, but I would move and continue looking for a place to move my whole family.

Feral (stray) Eating Inside the House

I never worried about fleas with Mitty coming in, it was so cold when I started and I tried to get Frontline on her the months leading up to her moving in. I got the Frontline in a dropper and tried to squirt it in her general direction-lol I am not sure how much actually got on her but when she...

Feral (stray) Eating Inside the House

That is how I got my feral Mitten to be an indoor kitty. Shortly after she let me touch her for the first time I started leaving my door open for her to come in and explore (while my cats were locking in my bedroom.) It was about 30-40 degrees out at the time of year we started this. I would...

    winter shelter, rubbermaid bin question

I sawed through mine with a steak knife, which I do not recommend, but it got the job done-lol I read after I made mine that heating up the bin with a hair dryer makes the plastic easier to cut through. Not sure if it helps, but it's worth a shot :) Also do not recommend hauling an entire bale...

Need Advice on helping a stray cat

Aww-poor little woggly cat! I think that she will come inside if given time. My little feral Mitten was bonded to her friend Budders, but when he disappeared, within a few months she started to bond to me, When she met my boy kitty though a baby gate, she wanted to move in. Need Advice on helping a stray cat

Please save the girl too, they are bonded and he's probably all she has. If you could bring her in I bet she would learn to be ok with you by watching her friend.

need advice on bringing in an outside cat we have been feeding

My little former feral Mitten got used to being inside over time. She was 2.5 years old before I first got to pet her Feb 7th, 2011. Feb 24th I got her to walk into the kitchen as long as my back was too her and I didn't move. April 6th she started sleeping inside every night but meowing to go...

Can a 4 year old feral cat be moved indoors?

Take Puzzle with you! My little feral-to-housecat Mitten moved in 2 months before she turned 3. She barely let me touch/scratch her for a few seconds, but once she met my boy Sneezer through a baby gate she wanted in with us! I spent 3 months working with her, letting her wander in when my cats...

There should be a warning on this, that much cuteness is too much to handle!

    feral/stray/ abcess

I would do what Carolina suggested and get him tested, then you can make a decision. I would love to see the boy be able to go indoors with you :)
