My Bella is much improved as well, even with Boo picking on her. I'm going out of my way to give plenty of attention to both. I still may take Boo to the vet for blood work. Do you know what the symptoms are for kitty diabetes?
Thanks. Good luck tomorrow and please let me know what happens either on this site or email me at [email protected]. Unfortunately, I won't be able to take mine until later in the week due to work.
Don't anticipate the worst - wait until you see the vet. I never thought about one of them being sick (since I am in a similar boat to you). Although my cats don't act sick. Boo, though, does throw up her dry food alot. I had a huge mess to clean up yesterday.
Also, Bella eats in the kitchen and Boo eats in another room - should I keep all the food bowls in the kitchen? I used to keep everything in the kitchen but Boo would never eat so I moved her dish.
Yes, I got a 37 gallon freshwater fish tank. But they both seem intrigued by it. I took Bella to the vet because of the hot spot. She is perfectly healthy. I guess I should take Boo in. If a cat has diabetes, could that make them hyper? Boo is a big girl.
I meant to say they are spayed (2 girls) and they were spayed when they were kitten. They have different food bowls but it is difficult to separate toys and litter box - it was never a problem until about a month ago. I have a feliway and it doesn't do much of anything. It's getting to the...
Hi all, I have two cats, Boo-3 and Bella-2. Bella has always been playful and lovable, Boo is a little more independent but lovable and used to occasionally play well with Bella. Now Boo has turned into a complete bully with Bella - to the point that Bella is biting two spots on her back (hot...
I never heard of the feliway but I just looked it up online - sounds like just the ticket I need. Do you know if any pet stores sell them? I would love to buy this tomorrow instead of waiting to buy it online. Bella also overgrooms everything - her back and her snuggle blanket, especially...
I posted under behavior problems (see personality change in my cats) because she is licking her sore spot nonstop and I'm afraid that it is stress related. But, how do I get her to stop licking her spot? The hair is completely gone and the spot is red and feels rough around the edges. I...
Hi everyone,
My two girls (Bella and Boo) have been together two years. Bella is a lovable, playful, curious gal. Boo is more independent, not very social, a lap cat with me and plays when she is in the mood. Things have changed over the past couple of weeks and now Bella has a huge sore on...
I'm sure there are threads on this subject and will look shortly. My babies are spoiled rotten and love me very much. This will be the first time I've spent more than 24 hours away from them and I'm already feeling guilty. What is the best for them? Bella is 3 months and Boo is 13 months...
Wow - I'm glad I saw this post. My Boo has the same thing happening with her tummy and my boyfriend has been fussing at me for overfeeding her. The vet says she isn't overweight, yet to look at her tummy, you'd think otherwise, plus she doesn't eat a ton and is very very active. I don't like...
