    Drooling?

Swab results are in: Tiggy tested negative for feline herpes, positive for feline calici (thus the drooling) and positive for bacterial infection (how he got that is beyond me since Tiggy's an indoor cat). Since the Famvir seems to be helping the Vet told me not to discontinue; but he wants me...

    Drooling?

Back from the Vet (Tiggy's 2 by the way ;) )  Gums & teeth are fine, no visible ulcers in the mouth.  Tiggy still eats with good appetite (which is a good sign according to the Vet). So far it looks viral: his inner eyelid was red and irritated.  We're looking at a possible relapse of his feline...

    Drooling?

That's what I'm thinking too.  Looks like the Pet Insurance will be coming in handy!

    Drooling?

Yeah, now I'm worried sick and will book an appointment at the Vet...here I am going "please don't be sick Tiggy, please be well"...and he bites my hand, a good firm chomp.  Keeping my hand still and going "ooow" in a high pitched voice only seemed to make him bite harder...I don't know what to...

    Drooling?

I've been noticing for the past couple of days that Tiggy's chin and throat sometimes feel wet.  Today I come home from work and there's this small puddle of liquid on the floor in front of the bedroom.  Didn't smell, so I know it wan't pee, and too liquid to be saliva I think. Perhaps it's...

This is the first time that he actually scares me

I've been trying it since reading your reply and it seems to work...somewhat. The "attention bites" usually happen in the kitchenette; either when I'm cooking, washing dishes or getting food out of the fridge.  It usually goes: top of the foot, gentle bite, instep, gentle bite, Achilles tendon...

This is the first time that he actually scares me

Well, he's been is sweet lovable since then...then  today as I'm cooking some lunch, play bite on my foot.  I laugh it off and pick him up.  He's purring, I'm scratching his ears, all is fine.  I put him down on the futon but he follows me back to the kitchen.  Another play bite on the foot and...

This is the first time that he actually scares me

Tiggy's bad habit of play-biting seems to have escalated to the next level - after letting him know of my displeasure as he was insistently biting the top of my feet; (okay, I got upset and gently shook him with my hands -an idiotic move on my part and I regret it ) he let out this annoyed...

    Tiggy's biting is becoming aggravating...

I know he means no harm but the biting (love bites, play bites, 'hurry up with the food I'm hungry' bites) are becoming increasingly hard and painful....cats' teeth are so sharp they don't need to bite very hard to cause pain.  Tiggy's not my first cat, Geisha and Sasha grew out of the hard...

Wet to dry food ratio - should I worry about this?

Hi folks...firstly, I'm not sure what happened to my old user name; it used to be Lucky Luke but then was "locked" (for lack of a better term) and then Captain Feline was created... Anyway, my cat Tiggy's food habits are changing and I'm not sure why (I often joke around calling him a fickle...
