These are the strips I have: http://www.iherb.com/Trimedica-AlkaM...ips/18428?at=0
I bought them for myself, but I'm assuming they'd work for cats as well... ?
Ah. I just signed up yesterday so I just meant I hadn't seen it mentioned in this particular thread.
Fair enough. I still think it is an unfortunate status quo for prescription food. Make that all food. At least there are healthier options that have the same purpose even if they don't come out...
I would feed my cats raw food if they were so inclined to go near it. Those concerned with "easiness" could also take a look at pre-made raw diets, specifically Feline's Pride (best option: grain-free and vegetable-free) and Nature's Variety (95% meat/bones/organs and 5% fruit/vegetable matter).

Yesterday he peed about the same small amount every time he went, and I thought to myself that he would have peed the same amount over the course of the day if he was peeing regular amounts. So yes, the volume over the course of the day was pretty normal, I think.
He is, indeed, a...
So, my cat started peeing in little squirts (frequently) a few weeks back. I suspected a UTI or some other urinary issue so I took him to the vet. They felt no blockage, and they also conducted a urinalysis to check for crystals or a UTI. He tested negative for both, and was given a clean bill...
