I've already posted a few times in other threads, but thought best to introduce myself. We currently reside in the all to often chilly mid-west, but everything is to change soon. In late fall we'll be move to the sunny south. I can't wait! No more long cold winters.

I saw this article on Dr Eades sight and thought, good question. Never thought of it, but makes since in a way. We're the only animals that have pets.
In the US there are more household pets than there are children. Did animals make us human?
