I have heard that borax mixed with sugar is also good at getting rid of them. I might just buy some ant bait stations in the morning. I just want to know if she ate any if she would get sick?? Im assuming not as she has eaten flys before,lol

Sorry to bring up a old thread guys. I just noticed today that there were lots of ants on our cats food dish. We have never had ants before. There was nothing on he dish earlier today. She wouldnt get sick if she was to have eaten food that had ants would she?

Just got the call from the vet.. Her bloodwork is perfect, the vet was glad to hear that she is eating and drinking again. Maybe she was just in a mood last week??

Also she had a spoonful of wet food around 7am ( its now 3pm ) and she hasn't touched her dry food or water at all? I try to put the water dish in front of her and she walks away as if I am annoying her by doing that.

Back home. The vet was able tun a basic test there from the blood from yesterday and said everything looks great. The blood work that goes out today will be more thorough but she doesn't expect any surprises. so that kind of calms our nerves a bit.

Also shes not doing much eating during the day, only at night. But if I take the food and water and put it in front of her she will eat and drink sometimes. Is she just being lazy now knowing I will take it to her?,lol
