This sounds accurate. Would this explain why he was totaly limp when i was trying to save him? I thought he was choking, so i was contracting his chest hard. Well atleast it was a quick death, i will never forget the long scream of pain.

i have this exact same problem, our bedroom is right next door to the laundry, and thats where the litter box is, the cat was already wondering the room to begin with, so he could of very easily gone to the litter box instead of peeing all our our bed.
