    IntroducingKato, our Bengal Cat

A friend of mine has several Bengals. They are beautiful animals and so loving. They were very easy to rehome as they are such social animals. Don't worry about your beautiful Kato if something should happen to you. Someone will be happy to give another loving home to him. Enjoy him. Get...

    Inner lid

Thanks everyone for your advice. I did take Clancy to the vet and he was suitably impressed by his size. I thought he weighed around 20 lbs but is "only" 16.4 lb. His eyes are OK, he is healthy. I mentioned the inner lid and the vet says he's fine.

    Clancy/Cinder

Hello folks I had a 1.5 year old boy who was frustrated he had no one to play with. Enter Clancy - a 20 lb. 2 year old boy. Clancy is very laid back but enjoys playing also. Cinder decided he was a wonderful playmate and would zoom around and knock him over and take off again. After this...

    Apparently, I'm weird....

Not weird to me either. I thought any empty box was automatically a cat toy. The bigger the cat, the smaller the box they try to get into

    Inner lid

My big boy has his inner lids showing all the time. Is this a sign of illness? He's pretty active and still plays hard with his little buddy. It seems unusual to see that membrane so much.

The end is near, pls comment on your opinion

What a difficult decision you have ahead of you and my heart goes out to you. Philly has enjoyed a long life and had a loving home. Do not let him suffer. Discuss this with your vet to make the most humane decision.

    Greetings & Hallucinations

Clancy is a red-head so I figure he's an Irish cat. He came with that name and I don't dislike it. Clancy and Cinder were seen playing this morning. This much belies the fact that they were fighting at 3AM. I had to get up and squirt water on them. The initiater is Cinder because Clancy is...

Cats I have known and loved

These are pics of my friends' cats. Moughley - absolutely magnificent Bengal Remi - beautiful boy but not Moughley I adopted Cinder-fella a few months ago. He's only 1.5 years old and very full of vim & vinegar. However, my crabby old Smudge does not want to play so he was very...

    Ruby's Furmily past & present

Here are pics of my beautiful furbabies. Cleopatches - lost my beautiful girl to CRF Trembley (my fraidy-cat and littermate to Cleopatches) - lost this handsome boy to CRF just months after Patches Smudge (she was so nasty to the other two I almost called her Cruella-declaw). This is my...

Karen I'm afraid I'm going to have to steal your term "furmily". I've never heard it before and LOVE it. Thanks

    Greetings & Hallucinations

Thanks - Clancy is the new kid on the block. I got Cinder a few months ago but he is so young and full of vim that he is pestering my senior girl. I figured if I get him a companion they can tire each other out. We are still in the stages of hissy fits and growling but slowly they are getting...

Do you think chubby cats are cute?

My old girl Smudge was a rescue kitty and had never learned how to play. She came to me at a year old, recently aborted and the kittens she had been nursing had all been adopted out. I also got 2 littermates at the same time and they wanted to play with her. She only wanted to fight them -...

    Greetings & Hallucinations

Hello - Newbie Ruby here I joined because I was trying to find out info regarding the Emerycat Board. I'm now going to wait until I see one before I buy it. My furbabies allow me to trim their nails so no probs there. Currently I have 3 felines: 1 crabby old female (I've had her for about...
