Introducing cats into a dog household

I need a little advice about introducing two cats into an environment where a dog already controls all of the territory. Being a college student I'm always on the lookout for places that are cheaper and closer to campus then I already am and this year I've found the jackpot. The place in...

I don't know what this behavior means in kitty speak...

I brought Pip home on October 9 so he's only been officially in my home for 3 weeks. I've seen some promising signs that Jaders has been accepting Pip's entry to the household (I've seen her lick him a couple of times, she's been able to sleep in my bed when he was already in it, etc.) but...

    I'm new too!

Hi, my name is Fay and I'm new to this forum. My cats are Jaders (2 1/2 years old), a tortoise shell who I've had for about a year and a half now, and Pip (between 3 and 5), a black cat who I've had for only two weeks! I hope to get to know you all very well!

A royal canin type wet cat food? Also, Yogurt?

I recently adopted a kitty from my local animal shelter who has a few special needs due to a sensitive digestive system. He needs to be injected with B12 monthly and the shelter had him on Royal Canin dry food (Green Pea and Venison flavored) because of a suspected protein allergy. However, now...
