    Cerenia for more than nausea?

Wow that is pretty interesting!  I am hoping that this will turn into a great tool to help control pain in cats with FLUTD.  The dosage does seem pretty high though for a cat.

    Cerenia for more than nausea?

Well Macy got the Convenia shot  but then the vet gave me the cerenia and said it was for swelling and inflammation in his bladder.  I thought the dosage was awful high too and I can' find anything online about it.

    Cerenia for more than nausea?

So does anyone have experience with Cerenia being used for bladder issues?  Macy is 12lbs and the vet prescribed 16 mg for 4 days to reduce the inflammation.  I know this is prescribed for dogs so not sure about this at all.

    Urinary Issues again

I discovered that as long as I don't put the omega three stuff into Macys food he is eating the wet again, so I am holding off on it until I am confident that he is stable then might try again. I am so glad that Sonny is enjoying his visit with the kittens,  but he has to come home soon, dad is...

    Urinary Issues again

No he isn't going back and forth to the box, probably twice a day, and no licking, but they just seem smaller to me, so maybe just my paranoia kicking in...he is about 13lbs so the golf ball size is still good?

    Urinary Issues again

Just an update, Macy is doing better, playing eating and drinking and I am continuing to push water on him.  The only concern I have is that his pee balls are a bit small, the size of or a bit bigger than a golf ball.  Is that an ok size you think?
