    Need help finding new homes

Does anyone have any links that will help me to quickly re-home a lot of cats? I posted the post below previously and am reposting it now so you can see what I am referring to. Thank you!

    Little help please?

I haven't been on here much since the kittens were born, but now I have a huge problem I hope you can help with. One of the babies has worms, I assume this means all the babies have worms. Please, I know that the immediate reaction is "vet" but we are in foreclosure and having to move in 60...

It's official. I am now THAT woman...CAT woman...

So my doorbell rings about an hour ago. One of the neighborhood kids (13 years old) asks me "is this your cat? We found her and didn't want her out in the thunderstorm." Great, so now every time a cat is found it is assumed to be mine. I already have 9 with the babies! Of course she is...

    New situation, not my cat...

My husbands helper has a cat that apparently just gave birth. I say apparently because she was meowing a lot and then disappeared outside. They live about 15 miles from us so I don't know how much of this is fact. I tried to tell him today that those poor babies are probably flea infested...

I am starting to get kind of concerned here

Butty's eyes are still sealing shut, I have to wet wipe them open about 4 times a day. Not a problem, but there has to be another way. I have some arithromycin (sp?) from when my daughter had an eye infection (conjunctivitis) but I don't know if I can put a tiny bit of it on his eyes....any...

Update on the babies and LittleOne

Well, they are now 11 days old. Butty (short for Butt-hole, he was stuck breach for 15 minutes, then kept trying to get back in!) has dual eye infections. I have been wiping with a warm wet washcloth and hoping that will suffice. Boy can he/she whine when I do that. Makes LittleOne a nervous...

Yeah! Cords off, eyes starting to open

Think that is why mom moved them to a darker spot? She doesn't seem to care at all if we handle them, so I can only assume she moved them for their sensitive brand new eyes. They are 8 days old today!

The kittens have a home, but I am not happy....

I was talking to a woman in the next neighborhood who helps place kitties in new homes and I think she is WONDERFUL for doing this! She has a friend who she thinks will help place the babies when it is time as well as get them fixed. Also, outstanding! BUT, she said her friend sometimes wants...

When do you let mom back out into the house?

Obviously I won't let her wander freely when the unfixed males are around. But, I have 2 fixed cats that are "mad at her" so to speak, hissing, growling etc (probably due to scent change?) I want to let her wander (she is very upset about being locked into my bedroom, bathroom and closet) but...

    Little One likes a baby-sitter

So far it seems as though my Little One, aka new mommy, will only eat or leave the box if my daughters or I are there to "babysit"! This is so sweet, but I am worried if she is getting enough food for the babies. (Temporary names for babies are "Butty" short for butthole because "he" keeps...

    We have babies!

2 so far, but I think there are still more. I am petting her between contractions. Called the vet's for advice because the first one was breech and seemed to be stuck for about 10 minutes. He/She is out and and suckling away! There goes my theory about cats having kittens at night! lol!

    Is this normal??

now my little soon to be mommy is walking around, meowing and throwing up....help?

So, it looks like we have a little dangly

in the vag area. It is small, but I THINK it is the mucus! Fingers crossed! I hope tonight is the night! On another but related topic, why does it seem that cats always have their kittens at night?

    Sick kitty....

I have 5 cats. 1 is pregnant and 1 is sick, I just don't know how sick. He has been sneezing for the past week and actually having snot come out which I have NEVER seen in a cat, he occasionally has coughing spasms which are so loud they make us jump (sounds like he is "hocking a lugey" (sp)...

    Another day, still no babies

Yes, I was this horribly impatient when I was pregnant as well. I can't wait to see the tiny ones! The advantage that I have is that while I was out doing my Avon books I came across a woman in the next neighborhood who sometimes works with the Humane Society who has offered to help find the...

Not sure if I can post this here...

But does anyone know of ANYone in the NC area who will do 3 free fixes? I have 2 males who aren't fixed and a pregnant female (post below) (oh, no my males are not the daddy's!) but we are flat broke. I am not just claiming poor, I mean we are on food stamps in the process of foreclosure poor...

    Found kitty

I found a kitty about 1 - 1 1/2 months ago and it has since become glaringly obvious that she is pregnant and will probably be delivering soon. Is there a way to tell 12-24 hours before she gives birth? Also, I have 4 other cats...I am assuming I should be separating them. I won't let her...
