Yesterday, April 1st, my 1 and a half year old cat, Miloh had to be put down. It turned out that my poor baby's kneecaps weren't aligned properly and it could not be corrected. We had never thought anything of it, but he had always walked sort of lopsided.
His life was cut short, but I know...
Miloh is terrified of the counter, methinks. I came stomping out the other night, knowing he would jump off right away if I made a loud noise. He was so scared, he practically fell off in his haste to get away!
I'm not sure he knew it was me, but he hasn't gone on since! Poor thing.
If I were you, I wouldn't give the kitten back. You've been paying for him and loving him as your own - which, in all technicality, he is, seeing as she GAVE him to you.
That really makes me mad. >> How is her son allergic to him one day, and then miraculously not anymore the next? It does...
Aw, don't worry~ My kitten was terrified at first, too. He hissed for a while when I came home one night from skating, but that might be because he used to be a feral. :P
Anyways, let him wander on his own, and if he comes out, maybe make a slight effort to pick 'im up? /nonhelpfulness
Bellies, ears, and tails. Bellies are so sooooooft... *melts* And the ears are fun to bend and twist. My kitten loves it, and my cat tolerates it. xD And tails, because when Miloh gets excited, it folds right over his back. Provides a great, free toy.
Ugh. I'm just a little older than that, and I can't imagine treating an animal like that. >> Her parents should know better than to scream at a poor dog.
Really, if it were up to me, I'd take that guy's dog away and give him to someone who will actually make sure he gets treated right. *grimace*
Good luck with getting momma back~ 8D I know how easy it is to get attatched to kitties - every time I go into the nearby animal shelter, I want to take all of the cats home with me. <3
Anyways, keep us updated - I wanna know how it goes. She'll be back... *dramatic music*
My mum gave her cat to a very lovely family when she got pregnant, but my mum had absolutely no one to clean the kitty litter, and she didn't want the kitty to suffer. ;_;
But alas, if a person has another person to clean the kitty litter/feed the kitties and bend over, etc, then they should...
I do a baby voice, because I'm cool like that. My kitties don't seem to mind, so I talk to them like I would my own child. Which I don't have. d: Therefore, cats = baby subsititues.
Personally, I loved the spotted kitties. <3 Anyways, can't wait for pics. I love pics. PICS. PICS. ;D Hehe. Anyways, I'm happy for you~ New kitties are always fun.
I have the same problem every time I go away. But alas, my two kitties are always there, healthy and happy. Look on the bright side - your boyfriend should have some funny stories to keep you confident in Jake's safety.
Some call it chirping, chattering... yeah. Lots of cats do it while playing - my kitten personally sounds like he's gurgling when he makes the noise. :3 Many outgrow it, but I've seen older cats make the sound.
Hehe. <3 It's cute. But rather scary.
My kitties, Miloh the kitten, and Coco the calico cat. As we like to call her. d: There'd be more, but I got annoyed with Tinypic and fled with the few pictures I had. xD Sorry if they're big - I had no control over this. ;__;
Oh, I do that to my kitten fairly often. ;D Kitties are so sneaky - one minute they could be across the house, next minute silently standing behind you. I accidentally locked Miloh in the laundry room one morning when I was grabbing a shirt for the day, and I can't remember how, but my mum let...
