I can agree with the assessment of food not high in fatty acids. She despises wet food and being on a bit of a tight budget I'm not sure if I could afford the higher priced dry foods.
I'll try the olive oil now, hopefully she doesn't mind it.
Cat is overweight (working on it now and have been for a while now) and has dandruff on his tail/butt area where I'm sure it is from her not being able to reach well. Thing is it has gotten worse over time.
Last time I was to the vet they recommended getting higher quality foods for her...
My kitty TC (nicknamed Satan cause of this pic ) :
and my friend and her Great Dane:
My cat is 12 lbs and losing while her pup is at least 4' tall and 90+ lbs. I never had this cat around a pup before so I'm trying to figure out what would be the best way to get these two together and...

Looks interesting and was thinking about buying one when I move (gotta get the kitty something new too!!)
I'd like opinions if you've got it.
Thanks!!
First off, I'm a rescue squad person... an EMT. That said, I've seen in catalogs and handed out during community day type of events a sticker/decal you put on a window or door that lets fire fighters know there are pets in the house. This of course doesn't mean that we (or the firemen) will...
We were called out with our fire company to a structure fire (I'm on the rescue squad). In the end 6 FD's and 3 squads were there.
About a 1/2 hour after I arrived to the scene (was on the road so I arrived in my personal vehicle and parked it in an adjacent driveway as I missed the rig), one...
1. Motorcycle is still broken.
2. I again have a cold on top on my allergies.
3. All the cute men in this world are named Chris and I probably lost an opportunity to date one from Scotland ( http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...threadid=20922 ).
4. I hate having a conscience.
5. 700 (or...
So where does one draw the line at loyalty and your word as a bond?
An opportunity to work at a camp as an EMT/Nurse person for 700 bucks a week (24/7 job and you live on site) was pretty much dropped in my lap last week by the Assistant Director of said camp. Problem is I already had a job...
So I'm starting my summer job tomorrow and one of my duties is helping kids with animal care.
Well I need information on white mice, brown mice, hamsters and sheep. Does anyone know where to look? I tried searching but not finding a lot of info.
So, got any sites I can check out!!!
Thanks
Well it sounds like CSF (but it could be a thin runny nose). Good luck on what you find, keep us informed. I'm interested in knowing, the vet should be able to tell you too.
Cute pics, I'm assuming though that the little one doesn't lay on your wheel as the car is moving.
You're lucky to have an enclosed car/vehicle. I have a wrangler and when bringing TC home from AZ to NJ, I made sure to get her an x-tra large carrier that I used a a living quarters. Litter in...
Well just make sure it wasn't some sort of snot or something that was thick. CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) isn't very thick at all.
Did you notice any of the things I mentioned in my post on your kitty?
I wonder if this is your neighbors way of telling you and your cat that the cat is not welcomed in her yard?
You may want to look into that as while I love cats, I'd be getting a little annoied if I kept seeing my neighbors cat roam around my yard. Maybe she thinks if her cat will continually...
I'm worried about the clear liquid... did you examine her head any. If cats are anything like humans, that clear fluid could have been the liquid that protects the brain from jolting and jarring into the skull. Did you feel any soft sopts? Did you notice any depressions? Was she licking at...
