    Withdrawn + head shaking = ???

Well I had her ears looked at, she has a small scratch on her eardrum - not sure how it got there because the vet didn't see any foreign objects or signs of life in there. She is otherwise healthy so I'm going to play the waiting game to see if her head shaking stop, if not I'll take her back...

    Withdrawn + head shaking = ???

She's starting to act a little crazy as normal, but I'm still going to get her checked out when I can. Although she is showing signs of returning to her normal self, she still shakes her head, especially when moving.

    Withdrawn + head shaking = ???

Yeah, that was going to be my course of action. I'm a little cash strapped right now so I was hoping somebody had an alternative suggestion, but she's more important to me than a few extra bux for a rainy day. Thing is I don't see any indication of anything in her ears, no foul smell, no puss...

    Withdrawn + head shaking = ???

Hi, I have a 10 month old shorthair that has been acting withdrawn lately, and has been shaking her head quite a bit. She is normally very active and seeks attention quite a bit, but lately that has decreased. She doesn't respond much to her favorite toys, and while she is still most active...

    After being spayed

I had my cat recently spayed (yesterday). They kept her overnight, and she is back home and acting more vibrant than ever. Unfortunately, the vet didnt tell me anything on how to treat her for the next few days (and I forgot to ask) or what to watch for. She is a little over 5 months old and was...

    Where to adopt from?

I found a cat and brought her home. She was given to the Caddo Parish Animal Shelter on the 22nd, will be 5 months on the 11th. I looked at her in the cage, she jumped up, I put my fingers slightly inside the cage and she rubbed against them. Couldn't resist! She has a squeaky meow and its...

    Where to adopt from?

Money isn't the issue for me, it's the added inconvenience of going to the vet for such things. I'm basically on call for my job and scheduling for a vet can be very sketchy for me. Given - my boss is very understanding if theres an emergency, at least the vet part is taken care of by animal...

    Where to adopt from?

Hello fellow feline flock, I'm about to adopt my first cat (well, I've had 2 before, but this is my first cat as an adult living by myself), and I'm trying to decide between two different sources upon where to adopt my first. Candidate one is Bossier City Animal Control. They have a feral cat...

How High is too High? (Cat Tree/Climber)

If it makes you feel better, there are reports of cats falling out of 6 STORY buildings (and higher) and surviving. 6' shouldnt be a problem I don't think. My last cat used to jump from the fridge (about 5') onto a tile floor and walk off without thinking much of it.
