Well hes gone, for now..
I caught him pissing in the living room, so as per normal I grabbed him to take him to his litter box, he bit and scratched me SEVERELY.
tossed him outside, if hes still around tomorrow, Ill think about letting him in, if not, oh well. Actually even if he is still...
I read about the possibility of a UTI after neutering and have been watching for the signs.. I.E. frequent trips to the litter box, constant cleaning.... etc etc
So far I have not seen anything to tip me off that he has any sort of infection, just just as goofy and spastic as ever, doesent...
UPDATE:
Well Im having trouble finding him a new home, perhaps I need help with my ad..
Free To Good Home
Male cat:
Likes peeing on floor and walls

Does not like Being picked up.
Does not like Being petted
Does not like being spoken to.

I havent tried confining him, because I just cant.. seems wrong.
I havent given him a "few months" to calm down because frankly I cant, in 3 weeks he has made life hell, destroyed my carpet, house smells like piss.. I did everything in my power to curb this crap..
take him back to the vet...
WOW, I tell ya!!
Nothing more enjoyable than coming home from work, only to open the front door and have the acrid smell off piss hit you in the face like a hammer, then look down and see the edges of the carpet shredded..
hes as good as gone, I cant handle him anymore. He needs a home with...
UPDATE!!!
Well the howling is not as bad, its gone from unbearable to only horrible..
he has however consolidated his pissing efforts to the carpet near the front door..
that is worse than ever, today I pulled up the carpet and pad AGAIN.. while I had the carpet and pad outside cleaning it...
Yea, he has toys, lots of toys, but he doesnt play with them, nope.. but give him a flexi straw or a plastic cup lid, and hes happy for hours.. go figure..
I try to tire him out, I play with him like crazy and then give him a can of soft food.. he pigs out, lays down for about an hour and then...
when hes not spraying or yelling, all he does is lay on his back stretched out like a broken slinky, you can pick him up and wear him like a scarf and walk around, he could care less.. there are many words I could use to described him, but stressed or anxious aren't in there.. he seems as happy...
well i spray the vinegar immediately if I see him spray, after it drys i sprinkle some baking soda over the spot, let that sit for a while and then shampoo the rug in that area (that thing is turning out the be the most useful thing I have bought in a long while)
and I dont understand his...
what really irks me is he KNOWS what he is doing is frowned upon, if he sees me, seeing him he will run and hide, he Knows im going to yell at him and go get the bottle of 50/50 water vinegar.
UUggh,, this is reallly getting difficult, He kept me up all knight howling and scratching at the windows, this morning the first thing I see when I wake up is him squatting in the corner spraying the wall..
I actually think his behavior is getting worse since being neutered.
Ive tried talking to him, everything from "thats not nice" to "I WILL SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE WITH A BAZOOKA!"
cats are so like people.. dont listen..
NOTE: he knocked over my beer as I was typing this, this does not auger well.
see, thats where I think I dropped the ball....... sorry for the pun..
I was told that if you neuter a cat before he had reached maturity.. it would cause him medical problems down the line.. however ive since read more on the subject and apparently there is no documented evidence to back up...
Happened across this thread, figured I would chime in..
if your using a moderate grade point shoot or a DSLR and shooting close up at the face, dont stop down lower than 3.5 or so, because then you can run into issues with the nose being out of focus, when they eyes are in focus or vice versa...
