My orange boys are 10 years old now and have been with us for all but 5 weeks of their lives.  They are definitely our furbabies and we would be lost without them.  They bring us great joy and many laughs.

ParsleySage, your two look like Swat & Bitty.  They'll be 10 next month. 

I haven't posted for quite a while but I have been lurking around the Cat Site and watching everyone's kitties grow.   Here are Swat & Bitty, snuggling on our bed.  I have lots of kitty butt pics but this one has both of them.

My Swat LOVES to have his tummy rubbed. He will lay like this for hours, as long as we keep rubbing his tummy.  Let's see all those pretty kitty tummies.

This is my favorite picture of Swat & Bitty.  It was taken the week we got them in 1993.  It may be an old photo but it's still cute to me!  

Bitty has been on CD since his first episode with crystals and has two more while on it.  You might want to think about adding in some wet food as well.  Just a thought.  We are in the process of taking both our cats off the prescription diet and putting them on an all natural food that is made...

So glad to hear that.  We actually planned on being at the clinic with Bitty for a few hours each day just so we could be close to him.  It took some convincing to get the vet to allow it but once they realized how much calmer he was with us there, they gave us the ok. 

Forgot something - the urine covering your baby should not deter you from giving him some love.  Just remember to wash afterwards (and I'm sure you will cause it's really stinky).  Bitty always seemed to respond better to treatment when we could give him the pets and love that he desperately...

I've been through this 3 times with my Bitty cat.  The last time was the most costly as he not only had some crystals but also a bladder infection and plugged urethra.  It took emergency surgery, a catheter, penicillan and 3 days at the vet to get him back to his normal self.  It is very scary...
