I took Margo to vet_just like any other stray_and found out she's been spayed and also has a tat. But tat is impossible to read. Contacted several vets and shelters in the state and I all anybody could come up with is Margo is not a lab cat(tat on ear) nor a cat that was spayed at a shelter/by...
Four housecats need home in Fairbury, Nebraska, they can be adopted individually.
Tiger M/Neuter, 4 yrs old, brown tabby and white. Tiger has a broken leg that is almost healed and though it is wobbly he gets around very well on 3. Tiger loves people_no children though, bad experience with young...
Can somebody help this person? A stray had kittens a few days ago in their garage. They are caring for the little family but no telling how long mom will stay around. She already took one kitten but came back(minus kitten)and is nursing the other four..they are responsible people it seems and if...
One of my furkids with LPGS went to the Bridge a week ago, he was also FIV+ which is what provoked most damage.
He was on pred for several years and would have been still on it.
Lately we would only give it to him every time he had a flareup, otherwise we didn't. He did have Alpha Interferon...
Sara Jane is a lovely Manx type (no tail at all), 5 years old tabby and white DSH 5 years old girl that is for adoption in Fairbury, Nebraska.
It is a bit urgent because though I do rescue and have many fosters plus my own, her foster home's time will be up Oct 1..unless there's a prospective...
Thank-you! So sorry about Speedboat, who's very much like my foster Francisco_except F has a floppy ear. Max and my late Margaret look very much alike too. Jerome would have met them surely
Two years later I'm back again! How's everybody? I'm still in Fairbury doing rescue and TNR, Jerome went to the Bridge one week ago today. He suffered the ravages of FIV..we've 9 housekitties now and are fostering other 9 plus others in other homes that are under my rescue umbrella..I need this...
I feel the same way when one is trapped; the poor things are thinking we're killing them..but the end result is that we're saving their lives and helping. Even if it happens to be a feral that we have to euthanize it is still better than dying alone suffering. Good that you didn't get any hurt...
Aww..yeah, I don't think it is uncommon for ferals to hurt themselves while in a trap, be it drop or the reg Havahart or other. Not all but some try soo hard to get out that they get a scraped nose and more. Some will just hunker and play "there's no cat here" but a few (in our exprnc) will...
