I have been feeding my cats new food and their poop is smelling horrible! I have never had this problem with the old food I was feeding them ( an all dry diet- Nutro) Now they are getting a mixture of wet and dry (Wellness wet x2 daily, and a mixture of Orijin and Wellness Core during the day)...
It seems that most people on here recommend mixing two different dry foods. I guess to keep variety in their food....I am not partial to doing this. I am just trying to get recommendations from everyone I can, Everyone has their own rules and opinions though so I get frustrated and confused...
As I posted a few weeks ago, I am trying to get my cats on a more healthy food and on an eating schedule. I have done some research and have even had some taste tests with my cats to figure out what is best. I have decided to go with wet (wellness- grain free variety) morning and night and leave...
I have a friend that is interested in buying the cat claw covers, because her cat has recently started scratcing the carpet. Has anyone had any experience with these? If so any problems? Did they work, how long do they last? Are they uncomfortable for the cat?
Thank you
Yep, It is definetly her microchip! I noticed that she had a scab on her sholder about a week ago and figured she had gotten in a fight with one of the other cats, but the scab fell off and the microchip was attached to it.
I had no idea this could happen!!!
Has anyone's cat ever had an incident with a grocery bag...as in getting it cought on them somehow. If you have, you know what I mean. I almost died laughing the other night. Unfortunetly, my cat nibbles got caught around the waist by a big paper "American Eagle" bag. The poor guy was scared to...
My persian cat had an ulcer in his eye. When we first noticed it, we took him into the vet. He was squinting his eye all funny. The vet said it was an ulcer and that it was most likely caused by him getting poked in the eye (he likes to rub his face on everything). The vet gave us some eye drops...
Comet (1 1/2) Died from kidney failure. He was the runt of a feral litter we adopted. He was always very very small. He had under developed kidneys which cause him to pass very early. Poor guy. He lives on through his two brothers and tehy miss him terribly

I would watch your cat VERY carefully for the next little bit, or until you see the rubberbands in his poop or throw up. I learned the hard way...My cat Frankie ate a rubber band once. I did not actually see her do it, but one night she got really really sick and was puking all night. I took...
I have had to completly remove all plants after one of my cats ate a whole bamboo plant. This really sucks for me because I love plants. I can only have them on my desk at work for now. One day I would like a green house in my backyard where I can grow all the plants I wish
Thank you for the help.
I really had no idea that food was higher in carbs!
Is garlic bad for cats?
If I was to do a combonation of wet and dry, how much would you recommend feeding of each? Either way...Do you recommend feeding them on a schedueled time?
What do you feed your cats?
Thank you!
Hello Everyone!
I have been reading a lot about opinions on feeding cats wet or dry food. I am looking to change cat foods but have heard so many different opinions I feel like I am in a rut.
I have five cats, ranging 1-2 in age. I am currently feeding them Nutro-Natural Choice (weight...
Hello Everyone
My name is Brooke. I just joined today. This is the first forum I have ever been a part of. I am really excited to learn what everyone has to say. I am in search of some information on cat nutrition and know I will learn lots on this forum.
A bit about me...I am the proud owner...
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of funny cat behaviors, is my cat Bruizer and how he loves to do the strangest things. If I ever leave a wadded up receipt on the floor, he will carry it around with him like it is his little friend. He will take it with him to eat and set it down...
