Hi again adrienne
I personally don't think it's a great idea to use a harness if you have to walk them on a sidewalk. it's true what you say, they may encounter dogs on their walk and although you say they live with a dog and get along, you can't be prepared for how another dog might act with...
Congratulations Fitzy ! Let's all throw a birthday party for him lol
I remember when my two boys turned 1 a couple of months ago... I actually had a bday party for them with some human friends and cat friends. I put banners and balloons up, and even bought thema cake with their name on it rofl...
Awwwww, that is a really happy ending It really upsets me to know people just dump their kittens but now she has a nice loving home with someone that has just been converted lol
Oh, and welcome to the forums ! I'm new myself and loving every minute
I agree with Dragon Lady
all those things are a good way for them to enjoy the outside but in a safer environment. I'm not altogther about the harness though and whether it will solve the problem or make it worse. We tried that with my brother's cat and it only made him want to go out even more...
I was just about to give my opinion and then I saw your update. That's great Grinder
Now at least the problem is solved and you don't have those worries anymore. It worked out pretty well I'd say.
I guess it'll take them a while to feel comfy in their new home, but it's better then being...
Awwww, that must've been a very cute site to see flimflam
it's just too bad that you didn't take photos, would've loved to have seen them.
Is cat nip easy to grown and look after ?
That's some good advice DragonLady ! better then mine anyways lol
I've been thinking about getting a new kitten lately and anticipate the hissing problems since I had that when I got my 2nd kitty. So now I know what to do when that happens.
Hey there
hmmm, the only thing that really comes to my mind is that she doesn't like the "vet" smell as you said. other than that I can't think of any other reason why she would start to act like that.
I'm thinking maybe in a couple of days she might stop, but if she doesn't that'll be a...
Awww thanks Russian Blue that's really nice of you and I will definitely keep that in mind. I'm in the downtown area and live in a Italian/Portuguese area
And thanks for helping me with submitting a pic. I now know how to do it and was going to upload one, but I'll have to resize it and it...
One of my cats seems to love cat nip (doesn't most cats!) and he goes crazy when I get out a toy with cat nip. I put it on the bed and he plays with it, rubs it and licks it.
I know cat nip makes kitties feel good and happy, but after he's finished with it he stares at the ceiling on his back...
I think my kitties love to nibble at our hand and often dig in a little bit too hard sometimes. Mine used to do that and I would always give them a firm "no" and look at them directly. It seemed to work. Even now sometimes my cat gets carried away playing and bites too hard, but when I say "no"...
I'm thinking on the same lines as Dragon Lady... I used to have a small litterbox when my cats were small and as they started to grow I noticed more accidents. When I changde to a bigger box it didn't happen again. But a trip to the vet is definitely a good idea too
My cats like to chew my plants and so I asked here and was told about Bitter Apple too.
although I have no idea though whether it will stain your curtians :/
