Thanks for the suggestions (especially the one about making sure it's from the right cat--I have 2!). Now I have a few follow ups: exactly how fresh is fresh, and can I keep it in the fridge for short-time storage? I love this forum!

I know this has been addressed in the forum before, but I couldn't find the thread. I need to get a stool sample from Suni and don't know how to do it. Any and all suggestions gratefully accepted! Thanks.

Thanks, Hissy. I adopted Mollie from our local shelter in mid-October. Mollie was spayed in November, so I don't think that's an issue. I get the feeling she IS feeling more comfortable with herself, me and my other furbaby, Suni.

Aqtb4u, I had the same issue last year. I got Suni (she's now 2) from the shelter in March, and after a few months wondered if I should get her a companion. She's very low key so I couldn't tell if she was depressed, lonely, or the such. Suni just wasn't telling me what I wanted to know...
