I had a cat many years ago who did the same thing and he was eventually diagnosed as an epileptic.
I hope this isnt the case for your cat. Let us know what the vet says.
I have always found with mine when i notice an abscess, that it is firm and warm to the touch and gets softer as time goes. I also dont always see a puncture mark, i find after a few days that there is also some hair loss as well because of the warmth.
Good luck with Poe.
I agree, it could be the food or a tummy bug. I have found with my own cats, that by taking away their cat food and giving them boiled chicken and some rice cooked in the water that the chicken was cooked in helps to clear up any runny poop in a day or two. I keep them on this for 4 or 5 days...
I have known people who literally hand feed their kittens and by that i mean the kittens would only eat food off their fingers. They only had to do this for a little while until the kittens got used to the wet food. If your kitten is doing this why not keep it up for a bit and see what happens...
Glad i caught up with this thread.
I have a house guest, ( kitten) 16 week old little girl and one of my boys has been doing the same thing, i did wonder why and now i know.
Glad to hear its play.
Thanks
She sounds like a perfectly normal 1 year old kitten to me too ,i also agree on getting a second opinion on the toe situation sounds like its painful to me if she is that agressive if you touch it.
Pain does terrible things to your demeanor, human or animal.
