paul understands his name "paul" or "paulie" when i say it (not my wife) but he seems to respond to her sometimes when she calls him nicknames like pooka, pook, poop ect. he wont come to me when im mad at him, seems to sense a different tone in my voice. he also seems to understand "no" "down"...

our cat ddint get nuetered till 6 months and he never sprayed b4 then.

im new here. i have a 1 1/2 yr old cat named paul. yes, i know paul is an odd name, but i got him as a kitten (from two stray parents) that my uncle and aunt had. they always have tons of them. they had already named him paul, so for lack of a better name i kept it and glad i did. it just fits...
