Sorry to post again, but does anyone know how I could release my cat's sphincter muscle for her so that I could empty her bladder? The vet did it on Thursday, but I'd be afraid that I wouldn't do it correctly.

My c. 6-month-old cat broke her tail on Wednesday; I took her to the vet on Thursday. Her bladder is not working, but she can defecate. The vet said I should leave it 48 hours to see if there is any improvement. Is there anything I can do to help her bladder right itself again?
