I have to switch foods because Royal Canin indoor adult is just too damn expensive. My local PetsMart highly suggested Nutro Max Cat indoor and it's half the price and still decent quality. At least that's what they said. Thanks for your opinion.

My cat scratches around his food bowl. He does this long slow scratch all around his bowl. It does not happen all the time.

I adopted my Cat approx. 2 years ago. First time I ever had a cat. I bring him to the vet for a general check-up. I ask the Vet what would be a good quality food to feed my Cat. The Vet suggested Royal Canin "The exact one at the top of this thread" The Vet did not put him on it for any reason...

Royal Canin is the only food the vet sells. My Cat is not on a special diet. They just want me to buy the food from them so they make a profit. I am willing to take suggestions on some high quality dry foods I can buy at PetsMart, PetCo or even Super Wal-Mart.

Well, I currently pay $14 for 6lbs. at the vet's office. I would like to get the same quality if not better for less at Wal-Mart or PetsMart. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the gift. I forgot to ask the Vet. I'll ask her next time. He is 15lbs. about 1.5 yrs old and very healthy. When someone sees him for the first time they are amazed on how big he his. He has a long body and alot of hair that make him look big.
