In my experience if the drive is showing as empty in "My Computer" the disc is a DVD and the drive is not. Look for the little DVD logo somewhere on the disc or case.
It's definitely not true. I have two, Siamese boys and they both like to sit or lay with me when I'm watching TV. If I'm on the computer Lucius likes to sit on my lap, but Geran is usually nearby laying down. Geran's less of a love bug, but he still likes to hop up on your lap once in a...
After I moved I went to a feline vet that was terribly disorganized, the staff didn't know prices off the top of their heads (such as the price of vaccinations), and they were more expensive (which I had expected but you expect a higher level of professionalism). They were nice but I wasn't...
Mine don't like to sit still to be groomed but it does work wonders. I usually use it twice a month or whenever I start noticing hair on my hands after I pet them. If only I could get them to sit still while I brush them.
If I recall correctly out of Mcafee and Symantec, Symantec uses far less resources memory. I haven't used either one in several years, they could have trimmed them down since then.
The RIAA is the one suing people, not the FCC. Copyright infringement is a civil matter, distributing copyrighted material is criminal.
Both Norton and Mcafee have gotten rather bloated over the years, I'd recommend Kaspersky or Bitdefender. There's also a two pretty good free ware programs...
That's horrible! I can't believe the vet didn't refer you to someone else or send one of the other doctors. If that had been someones child that doctor could lose his license and possibly face criminal and civil charges. *sigh* IANAL but have you considered small claims court? It's not just...
I have been using the feeding guide that natures variety offers on their site. Now that Geran and Lucius are about six months old I was wondering if I should be feeding them less. They seem to be not eating as much at various times during the day. Somedays one won't eat much breakfast...
Lucius and Geran used to run around almost every other hour like two year olds on a sugar high. They've calmed down a little bit since then, but they still run around like crazy for a few hours after they've been fed.
One of my kittens does this as well, usually my hands or arm. I think he's trying to groom me like he does for his brother. It's just another way of showing affection.
I moved about two months ago to an apartment about 25 minutes away. I made three trips to move smaller boxes in my car and I took the cats, their litter box, and some toys. I stuck them in the den while I was bringing boxes in and let them out while I unpacked. I think this helped them get...
I just recently started putting the harness on my two. Lucius took to his harness fairly well, no slinking or anything. Geran was another story, he slunk around everywhere and stuck to the walls like glue. Once I get some refills for da bird I'm going to see if I can get him to play and get...
You should also check out Greasemonkey and Flashblock, although ad-block may block flash. Greasemonkey lets you install user created scripts which alter how a webpage looks or behaves, I have one script that adds a google calendar link to evite. Flashblock replaces all the flash movies with a...
I just signed up for Home Again last week. I didn't see an option for a free basic service so I just paid the $14.99 annual fee, I could have missed it though.
