Yea, those time periods seem to be about what I've been experiencing.
Yes I actually read the bag and stirred it up. I am used to clumping litter so I had to make sure I understood how this stuff worked.
I still want to know what the blue things are in that stuff
I will keep you all updated...
Thanks for the advice. I already have two cats and I don't want to disrupt their turf, plus my mother is 80 and if anything happened to her I'm going to need to take in her cat.
Now I learned the daughter that lives in town is going to India in July for a month for her job. I think it's time...
I am taking care of two cats for him while he's in the rehab hospital (he's 80). He's been there for 2+ months now, so I'm starting to be concerned about some things regarding his cats. Need two pieces of advice -
A. He uses the crystals (they look blue/white) and I am not familiar with how...
I didn't know how close the chip reader needed to be to the cat, I thought it could read through the plastic carrier. I just went with the program when she opened up the carrier. Who am I to doubt a trained professional?
As the crow flies, it's about half a mile. But several streets with heavy traffic, lots of apts, whew, if he did make it he's going to get the royal treatment. I really would be shocked if it happened though. Maybe the vet tech should have known better, maybe I should have known better than to...
I had a nice cat show up last week, and he was coming around every day. He was very sweet and I could pick him up and do anything I wanted with him, very gentle. I decided to take him in, but first, since he was so gentle, I wanted to check for a microchip, I figure he must have been a pet. I...
Yea I know, Cosmo is an older cat and I feel some "bumps" on his back when I pull that Furminator, I halfway expect him to protest when those teeth run over the bumps (he is very skinny), but he seems to like it.
Hello fellow cat-people,
Is there such a thing as over-brushing kitty?
I got the furminator, and they both love it, but was wondering if I am over-doing it. I brush them every day, and it pulls off a lot, but is there such a thing as over brushing? Possibly damaging the coat?
I just got through using the furminator on Cosmo, so much came off, and the thought came to mind - how many hairs are on a cat? It's not infinite, but it must be a huge number!
I've heard it's good, but my cats always seem to get bored with bought toys. They seem to prefer tops off of milk jugs or my shoestrings. I suppose I shouldn't complain.
My boy cat wouldn't touch wet food until I got my second cat. When I started feeding her wet food, well of course he had to push her aside and have it for himself :-)
Hey look Dad took these shots of me and the chair he gave me to sunbath on, isn't it nice!
Then he took this close-up, see my blue eyes -
After a photo shoot I like to sunbath by my kitty-tower Dad got me, I love my Dad!
Yea I've used a live trap before. Put some wet cat food or sardines, the smellier the better, at the back as bait. If the cat is hungry it won't take too long. I have possums also, and I learned not to try to catch the cats at night or the possums will be what you get. Only do it during...
