Is Katina on antibiotics as well and what kind. Yes sounds as though she is the one who is taking over with URI and its very normal for one to be healthy and then get sick after the URI has incubated. The drinking water is due to dehydration due to diarrhea. When you talk to you vet let him know...
I dont beleive the vet never mentioned droncit or cestoved its a tapeworm injection! Geesh, it could have solved this issue. You bring kitty in and they give him an injection that simple!. Revolution is not for tapeworms. Tapeworms come from fleas. Revolution treats for fleas...
She was supposed to be my logo for my Cat information website as she is looking for information. I had to put catnip in the book. LOL It worked. If you would like a link to my cat informations site You ahve to PM me as apparently I am no aloud to post it in my signature. Her picture is also on...
Could be several things already mentioned. Simple as upper respiratory infection that is just showing up now after incubating in the shelter. Asthma and heart disease. Call your vet and get this little guys checked out, we can only suggest here. A cat will eat and drink and act fairly normal...
Well, I am a cat sitter and I feel cats do much better at home. They are more relaxed. Changes in environment can stress a cat out. When they a re home they may miss you but at least most things are the same.
Im sure the people who take care of the cats at the boarding place monitor the cats...
It sounds like you cleaned him up well. I would be sure to take him to the vet in the morning. I would probably not worry right now as the bleeding stopped and you said he is white so you could tell right away if her was bleeding somewhere else. Have you checked his paws real good?
Yes, get samples. I ahve gone through bags of natural foods to find what my cats like. They likes Solid Gold and wellness the best. Orijjen has a very high protein content, I dont like that. Its not balanced enough.
You should be fine as long as you cleaned it well as you said you have.
I have been stuck many times by needles myself at the vet hospital and nothing ever happened. Being bit by a cat..ummm different story!
4-6 months is usually good. I know shelters do them early. Earlier than I would do any of my cats. I think a kitten 8 weeks has still a very delicate system and cant see how their little bodies can handle the anesthesia, Its hard on their kidneys. This is my opinion and the opinion of vets I...
A second opinion always helps. More eyes on the subject and heads together may get to the bottom of it. Just take things in stride, first things first. Deal with the infection then move on to his teeth later. All the antibiotics he has been on will keep gum infection at bay right now.
Get a better vet? Some vet declaw to save a cats life!
ok,This is the last post I am making on this topic. Being in the vet tech profession for over 12 years I have seen at least 15 cats in a sit and wait decision cage.
I have begged the vets I worked for to let me keep a cat at the hospital...
