Libby has given birth to 7 kittens :o We were told by the vet that she would be having 3-4 max! But they're all lovely 6 of them are pure black like her and one is a bengal tiger just like another cat called Eddie that we have who we thought was her brother!! Anyway, what i wanted help on was...

Libby is currently giving birth, yay no need for c section! So far she has given birth to 4 we think, but they're all black so its very hard to tell. Her waters broke this morning and she has been in labor since about 10:30 AM. I'll keep you posted!

No caesarean needed just now, we're gonna wait till monday and if she doesnt have the babies by then we have to take her back to the vet and he said she will need a caesarean. We're really hoping she has them before monday because a caesarean is quite alot of money, and the doctor said that she...

The vet is now saying that he wont do a c section unless its absolutely necessary. We have an appointment this afternoon for him to examine her and then he'll tell us what he thinks needs to happen. I'll keep you posted!

Seeing as Libby has gone quite a bit further than her expected due date the vet said she should have a caesarean. We're not too sure whether we should go ahead and let her have it done because we think she might reject the kittens if she doesnt give birth naturally or the operation could leave...

Still no kittens We called the vet and he was very suprised to hear she still hasn't had them. He said to wait until thursday and if she hasn't had them by then we should bring her into the vet so he can make sure nothings wrong. Hopefully she'll have them tomorrow!

No sign of the kittens I swear she's just being stubborn! She's probably laughing at us all behind our back thinking "Not yeeeet :P" everytime we check up on her in the morning.

I know she's getting bigger by the day lol! And we had Eddie neutered a couple of weeks ago And we're going to get Libby spayed as soon as we can after she gives birth!

Thanks, I'll try and trim the furr but I dont know if she'll be too happy about it lol She does seem to try and put up quite a fight when we try and keep her in one place for too long.

You should see our Eddie, hes a gorgeous bengal tiger. We got him and Libby at the same time. He's so cute and sleeps in really weird positions.. lol!

Thanks for the advice I think she's just being awkward :P Or maybe she likes all the attentions we're giving her so much she doesnt want to have them lol!

Because shes a long haired cat you cant see the kittens moving, but when i stroke her i can feeling them moving and kicking. And yeah we're getting her spayed as soon as the kittens are able to feed themselves, and in the meantime we'll keep her in

Thankyou Libby seems to like stretching out on the laminate flooring, and i dont think my mum will be too happy if she has her kittens there :P. I hope she has them soon though as she seems very uncomfortable. I hope everything goes well with Floss!
