Take it from someone whose kitty is currently on a feeding tube--no eating means a very sick kitty very fast! Please try and get her in to see someone.

I would give treating for fleas a try as it is so inexpensive. We have two indoor-only cats and we managed to get fleas somehow this year after living in the same home for four years with no issues. It is a REALLY bad year for bugs in general since winter was so mild (if you are in the US).

Callie had a similar spot from Frontline. She didn't lose her hair, but her skin flaked BADLY right at the application spot. It cleared up just fine on its own.
