Yay! I just went to Banfield and told one of the girls that worked with my husband, she said hold on a second, and I made a deal with one of their new workers. She agreed to board my cats! I just dropped them off, they are a little sad, but they are safe! I am SO happy!
I don't have a regular vet. Well not regular, but it is with Banfield Pet Hospital. When I asked them last time they didn't know and told me to look on the internet.
This is the problem. I live in a gated community you need a key card to get in. My cat sitter has the other set. I need my...
I feel soooooooo guilty! I'm going to buy an extra two litter boxes and put one in my room, and one in the bathtub. They have two already, and they definitely like to poop in one and pee in the other.
I'm just so scared for them. I feed them a cup of food a day. I'm so nervous!!!
I'm in a jam with my two cats. I am going to be away for 4 days starting Friday. I am driving my husbands car down to him in Texas. I know I have read people leaving their cats home for the weekend. But is 4 days unsafe? I have a auto fountain, and was planning on getting the feeder that...
The vet said if I feed him regular food and he starts scratching again I'll probably have to feed him the special food. But she also said that a lot of cats grow out of it. We had him for 3 months before he started scratching like that which started right after he was neutered.
Last month I was complaining in the behavior area about how Rocky was crying all the time. Well I noticed that he was biting on his leg, so I took him to the vet. I find out that he has SEVERE skin allergies, and as of right now he is on a special vet diet, and I have to pill him twice a day...
My cats are both a year and they are crazy. They run around the house and wrestle with each other. I can't wait until they get 3. We had a 3 year old and he had a burst of energy in the morning and that was it. I miss those times.
My Apollo is like that. Super affectionate. He's a year old and I got them both when they were 8 months. He wants to be picked up and held every two to three hours. If I want to pick him up he will let me anytime except when he is playing with Rocky.
I am saving up for the second cat tree. I have feliway that's expensive enough, I have two turbo chasers, I have a machine that has a piece of string that teases them. They play when I am not there, but as soon as I am home they want to play with me. I can't even have an hour to myself...
Both of my cats like to be picked up. Apollo LOVES to be picked up and will request to be held every couple of hours. Rocky, well, he will be picked up and held for a minute or two, but then he wants to sit down. He'll sit on my lap though for 20 minutes at a time.
Nope he's not an only cat. I also adopted his littermate who doesn't cry at all except when I'm putting down the food dish. I bought two because when I had Libby I didn't want to have another cat (unless it was an adult/senior cat) be lonely like she was, she was the same calico type that...
I am so happy for the people who stay home and their cats sleep during the day. Mine do not. I have been up for 2 hours, and Rocky has done nothing but cry and cry and cry. I have fed them, I have cuddled with them, but all they want to do is play. Especially Rocky. It really makes me mad...
I am having this issue as well and I have two cats. Apollo is quiet, but Rocky starts crying every half-hour from 4:00 in the morning until I wake up at 7. I am so tired right now because I haven't had a good nights sleep since my husband went to BCT. Rocky is driving me crazy! They are 10...
They have calmed down quite a bit. But their pupils were big like saucers for almost 2 days. I'm glad they are back to normal. They ripped off their e-collars though I don't know how they did it though. I can't even find Rocky's collar at all.
I hate to say this, but the declawing procedure may have made things worse! It's a painful procedure and leaves lasting effects on many cats.
Are your cats spayed or neutered?
As for peeing and pooping, you should have taken them to the vet if you haven't done so already.
My cats were...
O.k. I just picked them up from the vet, and ticked off is too nice a word of how my cats feel right now. Apollo is growling literally. Rocky is cowering and scared. I wish I had a bigger place now so I could separate them. I figured he was going to be the maddest, and I was right. They...
I use Banfield. My husband used to be a pet nurse there, and I met all of the vets and the staff, and they really cared about the animals. I too have the wellness plan for my two cats! But I have heard that some places are much better than others. With the wellness plan I have saved almost...
Thanks guys, Friday can't come fast enough. Our main water pipe burst so I had to go out and get water. When I came back one of them peed on my stove. I don't know if that was a spray or not I cleaned it so quickly with Natures Miracle I didn't even bother to smell, but yuck!
