It is not infected yet. The nail is barely ingrown and I feel confident about doing it. From reading on line it seems that the biggest concern is infection. Any other thoughts. Thanks.
It is the thumb. I usually go over to her house an clip the cats nails. The problem was I did not come by for 3 months. She said that she cut the nails but obviously missed that one. It looks like a simple procedure that I could do but wanted to get some other input.
My friend's 15 year old cat has an ingrown nail. The nail is curved and grew into the paw. Is this something I can take care of myself or is a vet needed. The claw is not ingrown to far and I should be able to cut it then pull it out. Any recommendations or tips?
