My cat won't stop throwing up in the house

We've tried several brands, but right now he's on science diet and still having problems. The vet recommended this brand but maybe it's something besides diet. We might try the vet again... Thanks.

My cat won't stop throwing up in the house

Help! we've tried everything... Sensitive stomach cat foods and hairball control both wet and dry. We try to keep him an outdoor cat because of this problem, though he can't be completely outdoors because he was de-clawed. He is about 4 1/2 years old now.

Just got a new addition, wondering what to do?

Just an update, Chance didn't fall for the "Doxy in the food" trick... We had an appointment with the vet today but they refused to take us until chance got over his respiratory infection. He's doing much better, but I guess they didn't want to risk infecting any of the other animals...

Just got a new addition, wondering what to do?

Thanks, I will ask the vet about an alternative like Clavamox or Baytril... It would be much easier to hide something in his food. If the taste/smell is too strong with the Doxycyline it won't be possible, but I'm going to give it a try. It's getting near medicine time again He's eating...

Just got a new addition, wondering what to do?

Thanks for the feedback, it's not a fun situation for anyone but I think he knows he's in a good place! He's getting a little better about not running under the bed and hiding for as long. thanks

Just got a new addition, wondering what to do?

The medicine is hand written on the label and it's hard to read so I'm not sure if this is exactly it, but it looks like: "Doxycyline"

Just got a new addition, wondering what to do?

Hi all, We just brought a new cat home from the shelter. He's 4 years old and very affectionate. He chose us, (name's Chance) and he's great! Problem is, he has an upper respiratory infection and we're keeping him in his own room away from the others. (supposed to be this way for 2 weeks) The...

    I have a theory

Thanks, I haven't thought of the "hissing" approach, that's good! I do say "no" and "bad" and he does respond to it. I didn't like the spray bottle idea either because it's a bit too much and he probably won't get it. I forget where I read about this idea... the other thing is that you have to...

    I have a theory

This is my first "official" post in the forum, thank you all for the welcome, glad to be here! We got our cat Moki from the humane society and he was declawed. We've had a problem with him biting but he rarely broke the skin. I think the reason why he bites is because of his lack of front...
