has anyone noticed this? my cat, when around other cats, never meows at them - instead they sniff, rub, lick. it seems that cats only meow to get the attention of humans and not to communicate with each other!

right, but what if she is eating her normal food and just sneaks bites of the older cat's food... is that dangerous? as a poster before mentioned, I can put the california natural out of the older cat's reach (she is not that agile).

thanks for the suggestions! anyone else have experience with their cats sneaking another cat's diet/prescription food? from what i can tell, k/d just has adjusted protein and nutrient levels and no actual 'medicine' in it... seems like if my 4-year-old ate some in addition to her regular food...

I'm with you on the Hills... that's why I feed California Natural to mine. But my parents are doing me a favor by watching my cat, and unfortunately, their cat eats Hill's and that's what she'll stay eating, because both they and the cat are set in their ways My cat loooooves the California...
