    Classic Tabbies vs. Marble Bengals

Hey hey, Marbled bengal cats are quite often somewhat symmetrical, it's more that the pattern on each side has that horizontal flow and not the circular bullseye pattern that you get in classic tabbies. It really does depend on the cat how chaotic or strong the marbled pattern is. Same with if...

Nikita is a ninja - traumatic vet visit

I know, my poor kitty, she'll have been SO scared especially when they were knocking the bricks out of the wall, she's really scared of loud noises and I phoned the vet up for an update and could hear the banging in the background. There was no other way of getting her out though and the vet and...

First of all, hi! I've not posted here for ages. Still living with Nikita and we're good buddies :) I didn't really know where to put this thread but figured it'd fit here. Now where to start.. ok so 2.5 years ago Nikita got an impacted anal gland, it's relatively common in dogs, rare in cats...

    Green eye thread...

My Nikita, she started out with golden-y hazel eyes but as she matured they turned a brilliant green As a baby: Now: The red in her fur took time to show up as well but I think it sets off her green eyes perfectly it does depend a bit on the light how intense the colour is but those...

    Nikita photos!

Hi! ..and yeah I know I disappeared off again. However both me and Nikita are well. She's four and a half years old now, seems like such a short time a go that she was a manic wee kitten. These photos are less fancy than my photos sometimes are, didn't set up specially or anything but I still...

    Water fountains

I tried to use a water fountain but it didn't work for me. Nikita wasn't afraid of it once it had been on for a few minutes and she got used to the noise but then she got convinced there was a mouse or something hiding inside it so she started digging around it and she got completely obsessive...

    A solitary Bengal?

It's absolutely possible having a solitary happy bengal. Just ask my Nikita However it is *a lot* of work for the human owner to keep the cat happy. When you're the only outlet for playing for an active cat like bengals tend to be it can be really exhausting. Also if they get bored they are...

    Fun outside with Nikita

Yeah our neighbor in the next garden over was doing yard-work which generated incredibly suspicious noises according to Nikita, it was pretty funny.

    Rosie, Sophie and Jack

Jack is hilarious posing on the stairs, quite the handsome fella now Rosie is clearly such a chatter box, I love how her mouth is open in almost all the photos of her. Sophie is really adorable too, her belly looks very pettable in her sunbathing pics (no idea if she'd let you pet it or not...

    Fun outside with Nikita

The weather today was absolutely lovely so I grabbed the harness and leash and spent a while outside with Nikita, she absolutely loved it and I had my camera too so pictures! 1. She was looking very 'Lion stalking the savannah' in the long grass. 2. 3. Experimenting a bit with blur...

Hey! it's been a while, new Nikita pics

Hi hi, I know it's ages since I posted here, I got a new job and got busy with various things. I've been taking good care of Nikita but took a lot fewer photos and didn't upload the better ones of the ones I did take. However, I've started getting in the swing of things again and here are a...

    Excessive Drooling

Well we're just back from the vet now. He had a good look at her and basically her eyes, teeth, gums and tongue are in perfect shape. He thinks probably something got stuck in her teeth or in her throat that she's gotten rid of now. Only way to look better at her throat would be to sedate her...

    Excessive Drooling

She's started dribbling a bit again, not nearly as bad as yesterday but it's still not normal. Anyway I'm booked in to take her to the vets in around 2 hours. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Excessive Drooling

She does have a few black heads on her chin, it's not really bad or anything but they're there. However a new development this morning. She's stopped drooling! or as far as I can tell anyway, she came to snuggle and there were no wet patches on the bed (although I'd prepared a towel for her to...

    Excessive Drooling

Wanted to add in that her eyes are leaking a bit too, I thought maybe before but now I'm sure. It's a clear watery liquid, like tears. Not gunky and she's not squinting or anything. Her nose is very wet too, not seen it drip but with the drool it would be hard to tell the difference really.
