Well as for dry food I'm mixing a little Whiskas in with the new food and they are trying some better quality wet food as well. I'm thinking that this will probably be done over a two week period.

I never fed my cats any of the brands that were recalled but I had been thinking of changing their diet for sometime now anyway.

Thanks for the tips, I love my cats like they are children and I want to feed them good quality food. I guess it's just ignorance on my part and not researching this enough.
Both of my cats wear collars, they are indoor cats but MacKenzie likes to run out of my apartment and into the hallway so I put tags on both collars just in case. If that wasn't an issue I wouldn't keep collars on them.
