OK Guys I need some help. about a month ago. I adopted my Isabella from the local humane society. She is 2 years old, the sweetest most snuggly kitty you ever want to meet and she tugged ay my heartstrings as her former owner had passed away. Not to mention that my other kitty (7 year old male)...
I agree with these guys. Give them time to re-adjust , having gotten out he may have picked up some foreign scents that are unsettling to her. The vanilla couldn't hurt. Give it a try. I strongly agree with getting him to a vet. If he picked something up out there you don't want her exposed...
Aaaaw thanks guys! The growling and hissing has already stopped. I new max was too much of a softy to keep that up for long. Well she is 2 years old so I am keep ing the name she came with. She was surrendered to the human society because her owner passed away. So I am guessing that whoever...
Well I finally did it. Max has been lonely for weeks since Boo passed and it took me a couple of months but I finally went down to the humane society to look for a new baby. I saw three cats yesterday and would have taken any one of them really but thought the kitten was a little too...
OK guys, I am about to embark on finding a new buddy for Max, He lost his older sister back in March and is very lonely when I am not at home. I went away for a week and had family come in every day to feed and play with him. They were hysterical when they saw my big list of instructions...
I have actually had some success with using flea spray that you would spray right on your animals to kill flees. I got it at petsmart and it worked pretty well on the ants. I didn't want to tak any chances with my babies either. Make sure you read all teh warnings before spraying!
Thanks so much for the advice guys. Max was my first Kitty and I didn't know much about the procedure at the time. All I knew was my roomate and I got out kitties together (they were brother and sister) and she was worried about her furniture so I went ahead and had it done. Not sure what I'll...
I have a 7 year old Male cat, Max, he is declawed. He recently lost his buddy to cancer. She was also declawed when I got her. In the next few weeks we are going to start looking for a new buddy for him. (He is a little lonely without her) Here is my question: Is it fair to bring in a non...
I'm sorry for your loss. I am sure he is looking down on you with love Good luck on finding a new baby. I know you will find that special new addition to your family.
I agree with PHX's mommy. talk to the vet again. you won't feel right about giving up Chewy until you know in your heart you have tried everything. Max and Boo (my babies) never totally loved each other and tussled now and then but nothin major. they learned to cohabit. Seems like you are up...
Thanks! And you are so right! I don't care if they think I am crazy. I talk to him constantly. I may become one of those "crazy cat ladies" but we just chatter away at each other. It's kind of funny really because I ask a question and he chimes in right on que! Just wanted to make sure I...
I've noticed Since Boo Boo Kitty passed away about a month or so ago, That Max has become very vocal. He doesn't seem unhappy, although I think he misses her. When I get home at night he follows me around and is pretty vocal and when I go into another room. And when I pull out his food...
OK guys, I need some help. Went to a new vet on saturday and as suspected, he told me max was a little pudgy. He was 17.7 lbs. Which was actualla little down from last time. He needs to lose more in asking a million questions about food do you believe I forgot to ask how much to give him so he...
