I've noticed Abby, who I've had for only a week, has fairly watery eyes, but it's clear and they usually only water when she's sleepy or very relaxed. I've seen wipes specifically designed for cats' eyes, are they worth buying?

Thanks everyone! I do plan on keeping the photos coming...I love taking pictures and I'm glad to have Abby around as my new subject. Heck, here's one more...she was starting to get a little annoyed with me and my camera by this time so after this, I decided to let her be.

Though I haven't received it yet, I ordered a Zoom Groom yesterday because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews it has gotten. I'm really looking forward to using it!

Huh! My cat Abby does that as well. She drinks normally sometimes, but more often than not she does the paw-dip thing. I never thought of the moving water thing...maybe someday I'll invest in a motorized bowl, but she seems to be pretty happy with the paw-dip method!

She has really come around in the past 24 hours! Now she's gotten pretty bold. She's even made my bed...well, her bed, haha! She barely seems to notice the fans anymore. She does still look at them from time to time, but hardly more than a glance. Doesn't look like a scaredy-cat anymore, does...

Thanks for all the tips, everyone...Abby is already coming around and learning that the fan is not out to get her. Provided I'm in the room, she will usually get up the courage to walk in and take a look around. I'm sure it won't be long until she's bossing me around the place
