I thought I'd re-introduce ourselves. I haven't been on for over 10 months. Too busy with my dog & facebook has a lot to answer for. lol!!!
Blossom is now 4 1/2 yrs old & still thinks she's ruling the roost. She has become very used to being a part time outside cat & it's a battle of wills...
I haven't been around much lately but I hope all on The Cat Site had a very Merry Christmas & a prosperous New Year. This past year has just flown by. Blossom is now 3 yrs old doing well & as of this present time doing her favourite pastime, sleeping.
Friday night there was a terrible cat fight going on & Blossom was outside. Sure enough it was her. She had to be coaxed to come inside. She ate her dinner ok & let me pick her up but when my oh held her she hissed at him.
She wasn't quite as bad as last time where she went missing all day b I...
I just love watching Blossom sleeping. I haven't posted any new pics of her in ages. Couldn't resist this one as it's a favourite. Look at her cute little nose?
This one she's sleeping in my son's beanbag.
In this one, she decided to sleep in a discarded box left on the table.
I started out with Blossom being an indoor only cat. After about a year & oh taking outside, she now always wants to go outside.
The latch on our screen door is broken & whenever anyone goes in or out we have to make sure it has caught. Whenever we forget Blossom attempts to go outside. And...
Blossom will be 3 next month. I've had her since she was 3 w/o. She has been a very active cat & not particularly cuddly. She has always shown her belly as cats do & I can't resist giving it a soft rub. She didn't used to take it & would either bite or scratch.
Over time she has accepted the...
Sadly we had to have my mother's cat pts on Saturday. She had been failing for a while & was starting to lose control of her back legs. She would have been 18 y/o in Nov. My mother is very upset by having to let her go, but it was the kindest thing to do for Coco.RIP Coco.
I had always intended to feed Blossom raw but got lazy & she only ever had a few meals as a baby. And knowing how fussy cats are with eating I never tried her since, until she started to steal the chicken legs I had defrosting in the sink for my dogs.
I would hear a bang & on investigation...
Blossom had a rare attack of the zoomies this afternoon. I was reclining on the lounge having a bowl of soup. I had the spoon almost to my mouth when Blossom came out of nowhere, jumped across my lap to the floor & onto the window sill. And I didn't spill a drop.
I posted in SOS because we hadn't seen Blossom for nearly 15 hours & thought she had gotten out side& no amount of calling brought her running back.
Last night when she went to come in our dogs ganged up on her & when she made another attempt at coming in they chased her off. She must of come...
The last time I saw her was last night around midnight when I fed her. My son, who found her as a tiny 3 w/o kitten, had friends over & they were in & out of the house all night. My intention was to leave her locked in the bathroom but of course they needed to use it & she would have gone out...
Found these on the computer. My son took them & had the wrong date on them. I'm guessing she's about 4-5 m/o. Big Bird is a rainbow lorikeet.
I tort I saw a puddy tat.
Blossom has always been a little 'aggressive' when it comes to petting. She always looks so inviting when she's on her back, her tummy says give me some scrithes. Over the last 12 mths she's allowed us to gradually pet her longer & further down her belly. Now she seems to really enjoy it, as...
I have been thinking of getting Blossom a harness as oh started taking her outside & over time she now tries to escape every day & has finally learnt how to open the screen door. She used to be satisfied to roll around on the back steps & eat the grass at the bottom of them.Lately she has been...
From my son's camera. Some are a little blurry but she was such a cutie.
In the 1st one she's about 6 w/o.
The next 2 she's about 7 w/o.
The next ones are about 8 w/o.
Happy 2nd Birthday Blossom.
I can't believe its been so long, from the tiny little 3 week old kitten that came so unexpectantly into our lives. It feels like you've always been with us.
