    Low Platelets

I had her blood drawn for her yearly check up. She doesn't seem to be showing any of the signs that come with all of this (the vet asked me a bunch of questions to try and pin point the problem before doing more blood work). She isn't vomiting, not lathargic, not loosing any weight, I don't...

    Low Platelets

I've never actually been given a copy of the CBC that they did on her. Yesterday would have been the 3rd time that they drew blood and the platelets were low, so I don't think its because of the draw (that's actually the reason they did it the 2nd time). The vet said that the most popular...

    Low Platelets

I have recently found out that Butters has low platelets (they are down to around 130). They've done a test on her for feline lukiema (sp?) and it came out negative. My next option is 3 more tests to narrow down the reason for her problem. I'm a little torn as to what test to do next...

    Help!!!

I've thought about the Feliway, but I really hate to spend $50 and it not work. DH uses bleach on his whites, but by the time Ash gets to them they've already been worn and smell like dirty man feet. I might have to try the vanilla thing. Even if it doesn't work at least the room will smell...

    Help!!!

I can accept the probable thought that he's jealous. I've actually given up getting upset when he does it to his clothes, for the whole reason that hubby doesn't put them away when they are clean or he'll pile them up when they're dirty. That's his fault and he can't get too mad about it...

    Help!!!

I haven't had a chance to reapply the vinegar a 2nd time. I'm gonna go do that after I post this. I can't see a stain (but I haven't used a black light either) but you can sure smell it (even when you are standing near the bed on hubby's side). I really do think he's got an issue with him...

    Help!!!

For the cleaning so far I've used vinegar & when that was nearly dry I put nature's miracle on it and now I'm waiting for it to dry. Earlier I had left it for about 4 hrs and came back and it was still wet and it still smelled of urine.

    Help!!!

I do most of the care. He's barely home. He's a student at an art college and working his tail off doing homework. When he is home he pets him and they do spoon on the couch.

    Help!!!

He is neutered. I don't remember the medication. It was a while ago and tramatizing (he is very hard to give medication to). We have 2 litter boxes. We would probably have more, but unless it is in the living room or our bedroom there are no other places to put another one. I use Arm &...

    Help!!!

*sigh* The sign on our door would read: Interested in a slightly used cat? He's really friendly and will pee on your husbands things quite willingly! If interested please inquire within. What is the best way to get a cat to STOP peeing on your husbands clothes or now his side of the bed...

    Cleaning teeth

Thanks for the heads up about the gel. Now, I was just wondering what flavor is the Logic gel? (just curious). I can't seem to find anywhere that mentions that. What attracts the cat to want to lick/eat it?

    Cleaning teeth

Is anything to give them to help with getting tarter off my cats' teeth? Brushing their teeth is pretty much out of the question (they both hate their mouth being messed with too much). I just hate the thought that I'll have to put them under once a year to have their teeth cleaned at the...

    TOOOOOOO many treats

No, actually I didn't really ask either. I just made an off handed comment about feeding them the greenies and she said not to b/c they were toxic. I didn't push it as I had been giving them more natural treats (dried liver, sweet potato treats) anyway. I've gotta go to the vet today (Butters...

    TOOOOOOO many treats

I second calling the vet. My vet said that they discourage the use of feline greenies as they are toxic to cats.

2 cats, 2 different eating styles

When we first got Butters she was pretty unsure of herself and wouldn't ever jump on things. I would give Ash some extra food on top of the dryer (different apartment then) and everything seemed fine. That was until she found out there was food there, that's when she started jumping up on the...

Oops, sorry I forgot that info! They are both 100% inside cats.

2 cats, 2 different eating styles

I have a little problem with my 2 cats. Let me give you a little info: I free feed both of my cats Natural Choice Weight Management kibble. Butters is overweight and Ash is just right. I want to get Butters down to a healthy weight, but I'm not sure how exactly to do this. Ash grazes a...
