Good Morning, Shorty,
The itching is back to "normal." [tongue in cheek]
I have marked the calendar and will wait till 4-6 weeks have passed. Thank you so much for caring and asking about the steroids.
Your house sounds like mine! I am currently working several hours away from my house and so...
Hi Shorty,
Am just checking in with you...are u ok?
Is that what you do - take care of "special needs kitties?" How warm & wonderful of you.

Yes, Bonnie,
thanks! I needed that Positivity!
I have a Loving Sebastian too! He is my baby boy. Did you know it means, "magnificent?"[g]
You named it: with this last fellow, I just feel like he was going through motions and his brain is elsewhere. He was a referral to me over Xmas dinner...
Hi Shorty,
Again my thanks. You have confirmed my frustration not only with this vet, but the other three.
Would you believe the first I took the cats to wouldn't even close the door - with all the other dogs and such running around? Like he was in a coma & could give a darn! My hand was in a...
I had written that the first vet I ever used put the Revolution in their ears for mites...that is incorrect. She TOLD me (that's how I knew the name) she used that, but I checked my bill. It said, "Accorex."
Gosh, I hope she put the Accorex.....
Anyway, I thought I'd set that straight!
Thanks...
Dear Shorty & Kind Others:
Well, I did call the vet and they said come right over, so I braved the winds and went. Vet said, "I don't use depo-medrol; it has been known to cause heart disease." Ok, I said. Then he proceeded (in less than ten minutes - no kidding) to give them a shot of the dang...
Shorty,
Am supposed to go get Frontline at vet but he is a good hour drive from here and the weather is challenging today...would I have to take the cats for that injection by him, or could he give me it and I do it myself? I want to try and avoid driving back and forth several times or having...
Shorty,
Is the depo-medrol something they would have to take forever? I am scared of such. These are my first cats. He did try a steroid when the itch first started, but I thought it made them worse. Maybe I can ask what it was and if there is different.
I printed the Chlorapheniramine info -...
Shorty,
Is Chlorpheniramine the brand name? Where do I find it? A drug store? I will check if it is ok with vet tomorrow.
Thank you.
Also, what is URIs?

Dear Shorty,
I think it IS an allergy maybe once bitten by a flea! Is the Chloro..(forgot how to spell) - is it listed by that name? Brand name? I will ask the vet tomrrow what he thinks of it.
Do you think it will stop the itching completely with a little use?
Vet said he will give me some...
LSULOVER,
Thank you. One of the vets did say 1/3 of Benadryl tablet per day, but my cats were hating me after a few days. I didn't see much difference.

Hi beandip,
Thank you. No, the Revolution she (vet) put directly in their ears over a year ago. They DID have ear mites then; I saw them. I have had the cats checked twice since and there have been none. Geez, could that vet have misused that product?
No, the spot on flea stuff is very recent...
Hi there,
A year ago my never-go-out cats (unrelated) developed earmites (I think) after being allowed to spend long hours at the metal screen door during an exceptionally dry and dusty summer. Several times I know an unkempt neighborhood cat came by the door.
A trip to the vet and some...
