    A solution for a howling cat

    I have a 15 year old cat who was howling alot (mostly in the evenings) for 2 years before I sought help. I just thought maybe all older cats did that. We tried pain meds, dementia meds, adjusting his thyroid medication dose and nothing helped until we tried Prozac. The change has been amazing!

    Wow! No vet has ever mentioned static electricity and we live in dry Denver. Although we lived here 4 years before he started this. Maybe it could be a skin problem though nothing is visible. Sue

    He had bloodwork a year ago and this month. I hadn't thought of a seeing or hearing problem. I think hyperesthesia is what the internal medicine vet thought it was. Sue
